Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 15:27:05 -0800

To all:

Under the pressures of litigations and of durable protesting , especially the one from the hunger strike Ly Tong, Mayor Reed and Madison Nguyen finally recognized and acknowledged the negatives that their citywide Memo will bring to SJ city. Please open the following link for the most update news from SJMN:

Reed and Nguyen had called instead for a citywide vote on the name. But Reed said today that the costs of an election would be higher than he had anticipated, and that they feared divisive campaigning would be harmful to the city's Vietnamese community.

This is another success for our community's GOOD CAUSE, and it's also a failure of 352 individuals who signed on BAN LEN TIENG which supported the unpopular 5 points Memo of Madison-Chuck.

Thanks God It's Friday and Have a Nice Weekend!!!\
